Darfur Genocide Awareness

The Sudanese government supported militia known as the Janjaweed, have killed hundreds of thousands of people everyday in attempts to wipe out an entire race. Before the genocide was brought to the attention of the entire world two years ago, nearly 30,000 people were already killed.  A hand full of independent organizations have sent minimal humanitarian aid and the attempts of influential nations like the United States have been feckless and inconsequential. The United Nations and Northern Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) have also made substantial efforts, but there so far, have been no signs of ratifying the situation in the near future.

For the duration of over three years, villages have been burned, women sexually abused and assaulted, children murdered, the entire race facing its end. Unfortunately, the global community is neither prepared or willing to supply protection, humanitarian aid, or the put out of international awareness so that this situation is finally remedied. Considering fatal effects it has had and will continute to have, and the failures of operations performed thus far, the amount of effort required exists on an international scale in which the countries currently envolved, those financially able, and the allies of both deploy troops for the protection of innocent citizens and the solution in military and political conflict. Once this is complete, humantarian aid can be sent (besides the minimal currently sent) to suffeciently keep the survivors alive.
